Tim Smith CSW CWE Tim has been in the food and wine industry
for over 20 years, including 10 years of management and 5 years of general management. Tim's restaurant resume includes such
LA eateries as Michael's, Jiraffe, Bikini, Jozu, Rix and Fenix. Tim left Los Angeles in 2001 to man the Food and Beverage
helm at the Princeville Golf Resort on Kauai. Tim then studied wine at the International Wine Center in New York in 2002/2003
as well as graduating with distinction from the Sommelier Society of Americas wine program. Known as the Winesurfer for his
passion for both wine and surfing, Tim now is a Certified Wine Eductor and Certified Specialist of Wine. Tim is an active
member of the Society of Wine Educators and has been asked to speak at their annual conference. Tim is also continuing his
studies with the Court of Master Sommeliers and is in his second year of the Wine and Spirits Educational Trust's Diploma
Program, the internationally acknowledged preparatory for the Master of Wine program.  |
